When I get asked how quickly I can turn around an order, most times, the answer is within 48 hours from the design being approved for print (yes, I've mastered my craft ๐). The part where it takes the longest is the design stage. If you don't know what you want, then I don't know what you want and this can prolong the design phase with an overload of "too many options" and not knowing what you're after.
With all of my products, the price I charge includes 4 rounds of proofs. So the more information you give me, the higher the chance I'd get the design you're after in the first 4 shots.
Some tips:
1. Details - Send me as much detail as you can. This may include your colour palette, theme, the feel you're going for, fonts you are using, if you want me to match the invite, what decorations or event stationary you may already have.
2. Create a mood board with lots of inspo pics. There's nothing wrong with saying you want this sort of design with another pictures feel and vibe.
3. Check your emails or dms regularly. There is nothing worse than having a proof sent over sitting in "sent" but not read for half the day. More often than not if proofs were checked regularly, the order would process the next day instead of still being in the design phase.
