Where to find suppliers ( Victoria)

Looking for suppliers (also known as Vendors) can be tricky so you’ve come to the right place. Here is a list of suppliers I have personally worked with and can vouch for.

Some tips when engaging with suppliers:
1. Contact your chosen supplier as soon as possible – nothings worse than being a couple weeks out from your event and still not having everything finalised. On a good day sure, suppliers can have your order ready in 3 weeks, in a rush maybe 1 week, but that’s only if things go to plan. Delays happen, both with delivery and in manufacturing where machinery can break down or need servicing. It’s just always good to be on the safe side and order ahead of time.

2. If your supplier doesn’t reply in 3days, email with a follow up. – Sometimes we get overwhelmed, we’re human, and sometimes that means we miss emails or don’t even get a chance to attend to emails. Please follow up, it may not be “profesh” but 90% of us run a one person business and also have kids and a family to attend to. We’re not ignoring you and it’s most definitely not a reflection of the quality of our work, it just means we are busy and sometimes we need a bit of a nudge.

3. Email with as much details about your event as possible – This is just to avoid 100 back and forth emails. The more emails we need to send the longer it takes to finalise your order as with every email that is sent, we need to wait an hour or more for a response and that’s only during our admin times. I mean, we don’t sit at our computers all day replying to emails, someone needs to actually make the orders right? so more details, less back and forth.
Details to include: Date of event, Date you need your order by, inspo photos to support your vision, sizing of props or signage, colours, themes, text, event location (if needing delivery) , start and end time of event (if relevant) etc.
